OUR TEAM
Having worked for Nuxeo in both the engineering department and for professional services we are uniquely qualified to lead you to success. We have extensive experience working on a diverse range of Nuxeo projects across different industries from Media & Entertainment, Retail, Financial Services.
We have worked on the most challenging DAM, PAM, ECM and Case Management implementations and supported Nuxeo’s largest clients since 2007 with consulting, design and execution.
I have worked with Nuxeo since 2007 in 3 different countries. I started as a Nuxeo newbie in Romania, moved to France to be a software engineer on the platform team and transitioned to a tech lead /technical architect in Professional Services in California until March 2021 :) I am also an AWS-certified developer and architect and I can proudly say I lead many successful projects for Nuxeo.
I have worked with Nuxeo since 2016 as a Senior Implementation Engineer. As someone who founded and successfully ran my own business for 11 years, I have a solid grasp of many common business challenges and delivering software solutions that solve business challenges. I have worked with many clients to manage, display, and deliver digital assets in unique ways. I also have extensive ETL experience, leading 2 separate projects to successfully import more than 1 billion documents into Nuxeo Cloud.
Computer systems and programming for me started some twenty years ago as a hobby which later turned into a career. During this time, I worked in multiple roles, including Linux system administrator managing onsite hardware, DevOps engineer managing HA multi-datacenter cloud application deployments, and software engineer working on various stacks, CMSs, and ECMs. The latest and greatest of these is Nuxeo, which I love for its customization, scalability, and integration options. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn. Being in contact with varied technologies has trained me to pay close attention to security, performance, and scale aspects so that I can provide clients with the best solutions for their needs.
I started my journey in IT about 11 years ago. From backend developer I switched to roles like Software Architect and Delivery Manager. I am constantly reading and trying to learn new technologies. I had the chance to work in various industries like banking, telecom, eCommerce, public and health sectors. I love building scalable systems, starting from MVPs and reaching performant distributed systems that can accommodate millions of users and billions of data objects.
I am a certified Scrum Master and Java developer. I consider that besides the technical skills, we are human and the methodologies we use in projects should be also aligned with our principles. That’s why I am a promoter of Agile methodology.
“Clean code is great, but code that generates value for users is greater!”
I like to combine my business mindset with technical knowledge in order to understand the needs behind each project and provide the best solutions. Over the past 8 years, I have been part of multiple projects in different industries like marketing, healthcare, and transportation in both startups and big companies. I have a passion for web applications, focusing on backend and cloud technologies but never afraid to touch other languages (full-stack, lifelong learner).
Being an AWS-certified developer: Security, Scalability, and Performance are very important topics for me.
I am a software engineer with a passion for writing code to solve complex issues. My journey as a computer scientist began ever since I was a kid. I was always driven by the idea that the harder it is, the more interesting it gets. Over the years I had the chance to be a part of the whole lifecycle of (mainly) web applications, which were spread across different industries. I even developed my own personal product – from the first line of code until it was published live and used by thousands of people. My career began as a full stack engineer, through the years I also had the opportunity to become a team leader and to coordinate with my colleagues and the project leadership. I’ve enjoyed every step of this journey so far, and I will never stop learning and developing my technical and social skills.
I have been a programmer since the 6th grade when my parents noticed my passion for exact sciences. They encouraged me to go into software engineering and they were right! After I studied at a software oriented high school, my path went through Computer Science at University. My road continues with me becoming a certified Java developer and now working with the Nuxeo platform as a full-stack engineer. Problem solving, solving riddles, and seeing my code run as expected puts a smile on my face.
About 15 years ago I began my journey into software development, successfully building and architecting along the way a wide range of medium to complex enterprise-level solutions, many of which are still in production today, standing the test of time. From games to accounting or ERP applications, on-premise or cloud-based microservices, I’ve always tried to push my limits and constantly learn something new (a programming language, a framework, a methodology, a culture), which led me to work with companies spanning multiple continents throughout my career.
As a Maretha software engineer, you will be in charge of creating the code for new features and unit tests while leveraging cutting-edge technology.
