Custom rendering per MIME type in Nuxeo

In this article I am going to focus on a rendering issue that one of our clients at Maretha.io encountered and I will detail the steps performed to find a solution.

If a Nuxeo document has the Picture facet, picture views will be automatically computed upon the creation of a document. The issue that I encountered is related to how the picture views are computed for an AI file. The conversion from AI to JPEG changed the original colors and/or outputted a pixelated image; another command needed to be used for performing this specific conversion, rather than the default one. We needed custom code to use our own rendering command.
